Hello!
This is a story from one of our EPs who recently experienced a 3month exchange here in Kenya with AIESEC JKUAT.
"I would sincerely like to thank AIESEC - JKUAT for allowing me to come and experience Kenya in the most fantastic way possible. The reason that I came to Kenya was because I knew absolutely nothing about it. Now, after 3 months, I can say that I have learned quite a bit, both about Kenya and myself. For that, I cannot thank AIESEC - JKUAT enough.
On the eve of my second to last day in Kenya, my (host) brother-in-law asked me what I thought about Kenya after having lived there for 3 months. Specifically, he asked what 3 things I would remember the best about my time on exchange. The first thing, which is food, is so simple that I don't think I need to say anything. The next thing is that I will remember is how much working in Kayaba School taught me. Not only did I learn about Kenyan history (I was a social studies teacher), but I also witnessed something that I would ever be able to see in the United States. The last thing that I'll remember from my time in Kenya is the people that I met. Everyone was so incredibly kind to me. I truly value all of the friendships that came out of my time in Kenya. "
